High Velocity Bowling - PS3

I just purchased this downloadable game from the Playstation store and it's great, in my opinion. Any of you guys have it? I'm not too good at it yet, but I'm enjoying it. I bowled in a league for about 20 years and always enjoyed the competition.

We play it once in a while. It's fun, but it reflects my complete lack of bowling skills far too well!

I'm still learning, I never did find a site that explained the game and options. I have figured out that there are different oil conditions and my experience as a real bowler in the past does help considerably. I still have 2 bowlers to unlock, but that should be fairly easy. :) I have played 13 games online, won 8, lost 5. Four of my losses were to the pro bowler (who is the last to unlock) and he really throws a nice smooth ball. I have had 2 games over 200 and a couple of 190's. The speed of the ball and the choice of ball for the oil conditions make this game very realistic for me.

My wife has bowled 4 games and her scores all reflect her old bowling average, she lines up on the lane and bowls exactly like she did in real life about 30 yrs. ago. :)

It looks like this game will be another nice game for friends and family to play when visiting. I have Buzz Quiz TV and they like playing that also.
