I'm trying to recreate a pinball machine but I don't have physical access to the machine. I'm trying to estimate out the height of the metal ball guide. From the estimate of the height, I can probably estimate out the height of the top-tabs where the plastic sits on:
I always thought that 29mm is the correct height of metal ball guides, but now I'm not sure. If it was 29mm then I suspect the tabs would be at least another 1 mm tall, putting the base of the plastics starting at 30mm. My understanding is that for plastics on star posts, the plastics generally start at 29mm? Thoughts? For real pinball machines (modern 90's era and beyond) what is the general offset where plastics start?
