It’s been 4 years, and I never expected to return to VP, not playing, and surely not as an author again, but life likes to surprise us now and then. So, I’ve decided that holding onto grudges wastes energy, and since advancing years have mellowed be a bit, I’m back. As a co-founder of PN, I haven’t always agreed with Jon’s way of running the site. But the past is the past and why worry about stuff I can’t change. I’ve sent JPH a PM hoping to smooth things over, so all according to how he responds; maybe I’ll be more involved here, or maybe not. Although we didn’t see eye-to-eye, that’s not why I left, but that’s ancient history.

I’m updating some of my old tables, what one I could come across. I’ve lost at least 75 tables, mostly originals, & lost about 250 WIPs, and all my graphics and sound. Sounds I can replace to some degree, but some of my images can’t be replaced. If you have any of my tables, would you PM me to see if it’s one I need? That would really make my day.

Slowly, I’ll be releasing updates of some of my favorite tables, as well as new work, as I complete them. Since I don’t test my tables forever, like I did in the past, it shouldn’t be too long before I have new, and new old stuff to offer. As SpiderBob would probably say as he chuckles at me, Never Say Never.

Welcome back John. This is a great place and for the most part, it's unmoderated. This is a good thing as we have always had moderated sites.

I may have some of your old tables on disks, but wouldn't know what to look for as they would be zipfiles or even .vpt files wouldn't show who made them.

I looked at PO for your tables and it said not available anymore, so you must have had them removed from there. There is a guy named Clyde, who seems to always have missing tables people are looking for.

Look at Christopher Heckman's site and click on DESIGNER to sort by author and you will see your Original tables, at least you'll then have their names to know what to ask for. Look for this to find the listings by year.

Howdy SpiderBob. Thanks for the links, I'll check them out, because I made so many, I can only remember a few names of the missing stuff. I do recall a few, Reactions, and Bronco Buster, which I made in both flippered and flipperless versions. Now I regret having most of my stuff removed from PO when I left. But I found my Starter Kit with a stripped down version of Bob's Nemesis, which I have updated with new graphics and sounds, a a few minor changes, which will be my first new release.

I'll have to look at the list again and see if I missed any. And while you're looking, I really liked Kinsey's tables, but can't find them anywhere. Oh,and PacDude's Diner. Thanks for looking for me.

I had a hard drive crash which wiped my old collection, but I do have a copy of MWStar Deluxe if you need it. It'll need to be updated to play on VP9+ though.
It plays well on VP8.

Thanks Sleepy, but that's one I was able to download, so if I updated it, which I don't recall, it was with 8.1. I'll stick with 8.1 at least for a while.

Thanks Jon. The worst part of being gone is how rusty my scripting lack of skills are. Using my starter tables have made it easier, but I'm still having problems updating a few tables and working on new ones. But in time I'll figure it out. BTW, if anyone still has my original Godsey's General Store, please send it to zifbob@gmail.com. If you have any other originals of mine, PM me to see if I need them. I'm still missing about 50-75 tables.
