Hi there! Just popped in for the first time to ask this question. Sorry about my poor contribution.

Is there any operator setting to keep playing forever into the same game? Or at least to maximize the number of buy-ins and purchased extra-balls?

I know many will think of these as cheating, but I don't care about the score. I just wanna get to see all the damn modes with the standard difficulty.

More specifically, I'm playing indy. I basically got VP to get that table and get to see and complete what I couldn't achieve in real life 15 years ago.

I've been fiddling with the settings and so far only found the max. extra ball count, max Eb. per B.I.P and replay levels. But no limit of buy-ins. Also, never heard about those ticket prizes before in Spain.

Any help there? Thanks.
 
Some machines have Buy-In, others don't.
If you knoew that Indy has it, then there should be a control in the Operator Menu somewhere, but I'm not familiar with Indy.

What I often do just to play through a table is, I place Targets/Walls to block the outlanes and drain. When blocking the center drain, be sure not to make the Wall too big else it might block the ball draining when you want it to and also make sure to align the center block Wall at the resting height of the flippers so there is no interference with the shots. Straight across the flipper tips will do.
Lift a flipper to drain and let the ball roll across the top edge of the Wall to drain.
 
Thanks. Never thought once about using the editor. It's quite friendly. And now I don't have to dumb down the settings.

Or better yet, Save As the table with XP for eXtra Play or some other name so you don't have to make those same changes every time. Every obe of my project/WIP tables is saved twice, just in case something goes wrong.
 
we also do just that when we build pins for playtesting! most of my originals require skill shots and without walls to keep the ball in play it'd drain too quickly for me to hit certain things. so block the outlanes and a thin horizontal wall between the flipperswith a slingshot setting of 3...
