With a wrenching moan like that of an ancient dinosaur drawing his last dying breath, I heard the sound of a high-voltage arcing around 3:30 A.M. And the power flickered and the Internet once again left the cable. Time Warner had an outage last Tuesday, and this one seemed to be caused by a car smacking a street pole. But I didn't hear a crash. Only sirens and copters all day.
I am now using a free dial-up service while waiting for a good word. Hoo-Boy!, is this wousy!
On a related note, I switched back to dial-up, and I find elton on the page.
I didn't know The Internet worked like that, but I haven't seen him since the last time I used dial-up.
