In the late 1950's, there were rubber-band-powered flying birds that used that same crank and wing mechanism. But they were very short range, inefficient, and not at all AI-smart.

This robot is truly a wonderment, but I think it needs to be able to perch and it could use a pair of eyes, though that would raise potential privacy issues. Like drones with cameras.

I've been suspecting a North/South Split is in play. Bernie won for being from New England. But Hillary lost, Cruz lost, and Trump won "for being North".

The current stock market debacle will paradox in aiding the businessman Trump. Very few who are investors, including pensioners, are going to appreciate a socialist candidate with no practical business sense. And that, we have had that now for two terms.

Sanders will divide the vote as a Socialist and, unfortunately, for being Jewish. Many people are reluctant to support someone who may escalate The Middle East conflict at our expense and without our consent. Sanders will need to distinguish himself from any personal beliefs in the same way that JFK distanced himself from his Catholic faith while in office...let alone Marilyn...
But he can't do that as a Socialist. Only insofar as a potential war monger.

I don't really want to lay all my cards on the table. These are my thoughts the past two weeks. Out of all the potentials, Bernie at least looks like a president. The stereotype of a wisend grandfatherly type. Does he even look like the figure head on a bottle of 'Old Grand Dad'...? I kink you could put his likeness on one a dollar bill and nobody would notice a difference.
A fact they don't teach in school is the republic of the United States Of America has been superseded by The United States Of America Incorporated. And that shit happened like 150 years ago. This sounds like a bad joke but is 100% fact. So... Do we need another politician as president? How about an actual Chief Executive Officer that actually wrote the book on "The Art Of The Deal"...?

here's a tip for those who particularly enjoy pleasuring themselves upon the 'freemarket world'-- no matter who americans actually elect, the POTUS is never going to be who you wish he can be, no matter what the circumstance.

i.e., the more you wish upon that star, the more i wonder how dumbass you are.

the reality is this-- the POTUS is a situation of persuasion and compromise, yet you suckers seem to fall in love with the idea of 'elect the right person and everything will improve, over and over again'.

Republic Inc. started with The Whiskey Tax disproportionate to Uniform Taxation.
Washington was facing a $50 Million deficit due to The Revolution and debts incurred. So he proposed the unjust tax while looking more like King George.

Ain't it the truth. I have watched C-SPAN, like every morning, since 1983 and am sick of this election. They have been going on about it since the middle of 2014, just past the mid-terms. The last 14 months, 25% ISIS 70% election 2016. Uhggg. In other words 95% status quo. Less than 5% anything of substance. I hate election time and it seems like it's been always election time since Bush's re-election in 2004. The next day Bush wanted to change the constitution so Arnold Schwarzenegger could run 2008.

Election time means the politicians annoy us in order to alienate the sensitivities of the thoughtful, sincere voters and drive them away from the voting booths.
That behavior then forces the nags with thick skins and flash tempers to Take Action Now! by voting for the ones that annoy them the most just to Shut Them Up!
