Is 2.7ghz dual core enough?

Is it enough to run VP tables smoothly in VP9? Even if VP only uses one core is 2.7ghz fast enough? The card's only a 9200 so HW rendering won't be there...surely others use SF mode....any help is greatly appreciated! :)
