Williams Laser Cue (Williams, 1984) problem

Game turns on with the sounds and all flippers working.Ball will not shoot out to play.I manual set ball on play field and drop targets and bumpers will not work!!Would a bad out hole switch cause this all to happen to me??Thanks to anyone with any help!!

Can you run a solenoid test to see if the game can fire the ball launcher ?

Sounds like the game is not going into Attract mode upon Power up. If the flippers & targets work as soon as you power on the game, and you don't have to hit the Credit button to Start or place the game in Play mode, then there is a problem with the reset circuitry on your CPU board. I am having a similar problem with my Williams Comet. I am not 100% which (if not all) of the Transistors & Capacitors within the circuit should be replaced. Can't find the exact match to replace them with either. However I have been able to get the game to reset several times by quickly cycling (turning on & quickly turning off, then right back on) the power switch. I hope this helps somehow.

the fuse that controls the solenoids on the power supply board is prob blown. there might be other problems that made that fuse blow like a burnt coil or a bad driver transistor.
