Hello all, first post here, looking for some advice. If you have read this in other pinball forums, I apologize.
I picked up a Gottlieb "Lights....Camera.....Action!" Friday night. Everything is working now that I've replaced the battery, except for one item. The switch for the top hole on the playfield does not register in the switch test. Because of this the ball never gets ejected, it just sits there.
I've tested the switch at the lugs, at the end of the harness where it plus to the other harness, and the switch shows continuity when closed. Thinking I may have a bad connector, I cut the wires for the switch on each side of the connector and soldered them together. It still doesn't register. At this point, the only thing left would be the diode wouldn't it? I have the manual, but I haven't figured out which diode on the diode board would correspond with this switch.
Any help here is appreciated.
