Williams Solved Little Chief (Williams, 1975) will not advance to 4 player game

i have a little chief by williams
i can press the credit button 1 ,2 or 3 times and get a game that correctly plays 1 ,2 or 3 players but when i push ithe button a 4th time for a 4 player game nothing happens ,if i manually activate the credit switch (i think that is the one) it does activate the wheel that controls number of players and will get 4 player game ,but it willnot do this if i push the credit button ,sorry if i ma using the wrong terms i am a relative new comer to this

also i need the upper playfield plastics for this game ,or a scan so i can try to make my own thanks again

Yes the IPDB has your schemo...One long continuous ladder diagram needs lotsa zooming. Looks like connections at #3 positions on both coin and player unit need to make to pulse player step up solenoid up to 4th player-via red/green wire leaving player unit. look for activity and bad connects in that section P.S.>{DISREGARD THIS AS I WAS LOOKING AT THE WRONG COIL...THAT IS PART OF BALL COUNT STEP UP} ...C_S

Hey jdapolito, Can you please explain what you mean by manually activate the credit switch Vs. pushing it ?

little chief will not allow 4 players

its fixed the switch on the coin step unit was opening up in the player 3 position .i adjusted this so it was still closed in the 3rd player position and it works now
