Just a short update to what I have been doing I was at work most the time I did make some playfield holes so that you can move them anywhere using tiles I still have to test this It was a good idea from the Manu team. I did not work much on the Manu Pinball I was busy working on servers and Virtual Machines. It lets you keep a backup of your system so if you run programs and have all your settings it saves those. So incase your hard drive fails or you need to restore anything all your settings are saved. You can also save your backups on any thumb drive or any hdd drive. It is useful and saves me time instead of re installing or choosing settings it is all saved.

That's true it does help keep from virus quote from website " It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local or mapped drive."

Its just basically making a virtual sandbox not tied to your operating system. This is the same thing VM virtual machines do they copy all required files into a package so when you are done using package it doesn't leave a mess of garbage files all over the place. The reason I use it so much is for backups and that is when it gets good. I can restore everything in 2 hours but I don't use that much software also my settings are all copied over. Setting it up takes some time but it is a big lifesaver.


. Oracle Virtual Box is one to try out its one of my favorites and easy to use I used to use VMware but now not that much.

I did not get any time for using internet or making any pinball stuff. Its the holidays and my work is keeping me busy all the time how is everyone doing ? I have just been working I did get some free time on the weekend but I changed out my hard drive with an SSD. I really want to see the difference in hard drive or ssd life span I will post comment on difference. SSD is more expensive but I already see a big difference in speed and response time. A few years ago I got a good deal on a hdd with 5400 speed and it's not bad for backups but I don't think I will be buying any more 5400 they are just too slow 7200 I might still consider buying.

I did hear SSD's have write limitations and heat problems but I don't overwrite that much. SSD is just so fast it is worth the extra cost. If I have any free time I will continue working on this pinball project I still try to use AI to create some of the artwork.
