Masters of the Universe (spiral toy)

I created this thread to show John the progress and to give the opportunity for suggestion.

First thing of course is to remove the balls and that is done.
Next step and in progress is touch up which in this case involves mostly erasing of artifacts and perspective correction. A lot of burning of the characters to bring back detail and contrast.

Redraw, also in progress is mainly for readability, and again perspective correction, but more so perspective fixing. The scores have to be moved into the lane and redrawn as though readable under the wall on a real toy, it's not so in the photo. The scores at the collection lanes need also be made readable. The fine print was erased.
On that note, they are not readable, but just. If you know or see the rest of the scores in the collection lanes, let me know. Otherwise I will guess. The play lane scores are mostly gone in this photo, ready for redraw.

Also the background is going to be replaced with a solid color, which will be replaced with the background motif to have it look more like a toy than a photo of a toy. (the black, upper right) I did this with Trumps Bagatelle and it turned out perfect.

I will also resize the canvas and fill in the missing bits on the sides. Game maker's Graphic editor makes that kind of work very easy.



The spiral wall is also done.

I will animate the leaf spring launcher for this game, and use a trigger and math for the launch.

Nuce work so far Phil. As far as I can tell, the scoring hole values are 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600. They seem to be reverse of what they should be, but that's the way the game was made. Right now, I'm out of VP table making. I seem to have gotten nasty bug called Security Tool that blocks access to everything on my computer except Windows Explorer and Internet Ezplorer. It'll be a while before I can hire someone to remove Security Tool, but at least I can still stay in toucj.

John, sorry to hear that. I hope it's not a big problem getting it cleaned up.

The guy responsible for that, I bet it was the highlight of his life. I got one of those once, spy sheriff or something like that. I think Dante was wrong. I think there is a 10th level of hell for the virus that creates these things.

Luckily, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, which nemerous folks suggested, cleaned up my computer, but I was worried for a while. Thanks to everyone for your help. It’s nice being able to add sounds to my WIPs again. Although I seldom have my speakers on except when I’m making a table, I hated the idea of releasing tables without any sounds. Now to get to work again on a few of my 125 projects. I'll be buying Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware as soon as I scrape up the price.
