Although Medieval Madness was not a huge commercial success at launch, it quickly became a fan favorite and is now widely considered one of the greatest pinball machines of all time. Try opening the FP editor for the table. Then click on the "Table" pulldown menu and select "Table Info". Then click on the button named, "Reset fpRAM file to defaults". Then try playing the table.

See if that helps.

Table worked for me on first run.
You can try right clicking on your BAM shortcut, and clicking Properties, and checkmark "Run as Administrator".
Then try the table.

Seriously... it's always *blown my mind* how our PB archivist-friends have spent so much time exactingly capturing all the video DMD events, then parsing them up so that they appear completely authentic when synced up to specific table events.

It really is just... fantastic, mais non?

Francisco666 did the initial coding that covered the basics. You do need a set of rules to code it and some of the guys test the VP version of the table to figure out the rules. TerryRed would tell you that tables that have roms are too limiting. You can't add new content. Slamt1lt probably wouldn't be able to add his castle blow up sequence or add the lightning on the backwall that I modified if this table had roms. I am guessing it might be possible for me to add lighting to a table that has a rom because my lighting code usually doesn't turn lights on or off. It just changes the brightness, glow or other properties.

This happened to me. The easy solution is to dl and use TerryReds AIO file, overwrite the fp folder with it and it usually fixes it.

It is the same PUP pack as AFM. They are identical. There is no need to install it if it is already there.

I'm not sure what you are saying. Overwrite the fp folder? Did you get the string error?

One further thing, George my table angle is not working on this table, but it does on all my other future tables. Is that correct that the table is a fixed angle? That's on a desktop

I think you are talking about Table Slope. The latest version of FizX has a setting for Table Slope that overrides all other locations where you can adjust it, like in right pane of the FP editor. It is how all FizX tables work now. The tweaker just relocates the controls from the script so you can adjust them in-game. It doesn't change how FizX works. If you want to change slope, just change it in the FizX tweaker although I think I have the default set pretty well. You can make the table play faster by increasing the slope and slower by decreasing it. The experts recommend that you set the slope between 5.0 and 6.0 for FizX although I think the tweaker will allow you to exceed that.

It works OK George but won't save. I have it set in the script at 8 but on the start of the table it just states bam camera global 1

You must have pressed the "C" key when you started the table. That is a BAM setting for camera (I didn't create it). The first setting is "bam camera global 1". You can keep pressing "C" to cycle through the other BAM camera settings. If you want it to go back to the camera views I created, press the Special 1 key to open the Game Tweaker, and arrow down to "Desktop Camera View". Then arrow left or right to try the different camera views.

Changing the table slope in the script will only change the default setting. The tweaker will keep the previously saved value until you set table slope in the tweaker to default and then save.

I suggest you watch the following video about the tweaker that I linked in the posting. I think it will help you:

well Ive tried resetting the NVRAM ive tried run as admin, I've downloaded and installed BAM again and overwritten my existing version but I still get the same error

Try deleting this file and then play without doing anything else:

C:\Games\Future Pinball\fpRAM\Medieval Madness 1.03.fpRAM

If that doesn't work, there is something you can try that is more involved.
