Yes, it's very easy to use. If you correctly size Blueprint images of "playfields" in Milkshape, you can easily place and resize them according to your needs. Blender does it too, but it's closer to SketchUp in terms of manipulation... well. I'm revasting ... it would be quite possible to remake FP in HD. Redo all the models with more polygons and textures in HD or K4, and make a NewTable.fpt Hd version ???

Something that has been needed to do for a decade or so. HD textures and a more complete new table version as well, as it's very incomplete or well, 20 years old...
I'm pretty sure all 3 of us have enough STL files between us as well if someone wants to do a new model.

I like the way you added the DMD animation with the frames added from textures. If you you built these from color textures, there is a way with BAM to add color textures to DMDs. Ravarcade's instructions are at the link below. He has a demo table there also about how to add color DMDs that will help you to figure out how to do it:

The animations are simply created from screenshots in VLC. Hold down "Shift + S." I then delete one in two images from the folder and place them in a new folder (reduce the number of images).

In the folder, I then select all the files and rename them.
I make sure the images are numbered (01) - (02), etc.

At this point, I create a "bathfiles" recording in Photoshop CS2 for a single image in the folder. For the first image, I:

1- Center (4:3 or 16:9)
2- Desaturate
3- Adjust brightness and contrast (no grayscale)
4- Resize
5- Save

I stop recording, which allows me to create a bathfiles file that I use to capture the entire folder, and the magic happens. (Multiple files at once with one click.) Once done, import them all into Fp, max 30 at a time.

Create an image list in Fp
Add, for example, 60 images
In the code, you can now adjust the speed image by image
So
60 images in 1 second = 1 second
30 images in 1 second = 2 seconds
So we adjust the duration of the DMD animation

This works quite well and is faster than editing images by images
in MsPaint

Thanks for sharing! I may try it sometime. It is much easier than the way Slamt1lt created frames for his videos.

If you delete steps 2 and 3, you would have color textures.

Yes, indeed, use a hologram to control the size and preview videos in color in the background.
This is probably a more efficient method than VLC.
