Williams Solved Monster Bash (Williams, 1998) Fuse blowing

Hey guys, Just joined and wanted to ask a question, I purchased a Monster Bash machine last year and its great. I was just given an original Bally Eightball machine with a problem. When I turn on the machine the F4 (5amp) fuse keeps blowing, I have a little electronic knowledge but don't know where to start. I have a manual for this but am not really good at reading schematics. Any help for this newbie would be appreciated.

f4 is the solenoid fuse. when it blows there is prob. a burnt coil somewhere. check all the coils for burnt marks and or smell. dont forget to check chime coils, knocker coil, and outhole coil. most of the time when coils go bad they short out the driver transistor that operates that coil. so both will need to be changed. if all coils seem to be fine, bridge rectifier BR3 on rectifier board may be shorted out blowing out the F4 fuse and needs to be changed.

How to choose a fuse?
