I was trying to remember the year also.
It was definitely the Dark Side of the Moon Tour in the late 80's(80's?),
but after I walked in, they played "Comfortably Numb" and all of the cigarette lighters in the crowd then came out.

say what? DSotM was from like 1974 or something. did they really name a tour after that 10+ years later?

i did see them once in philly around 1985. might have been roger's last gasp... not totally sure.

No ... but hearing they were performing at a local sports ground
late '70s I think, we 'surveyed' the area a few days beforehand
& there was a small brick utility building with flat concrete roof
level with the ground's brick fence, on the footpath outside
So we parked a car there, early, on the day, with deck chairs packed &
4 or 5 of us ? returned with packed eskies/ice boxes later
Saw & heard everything, including the burning bed thing
over & above anyone in$ide :D
