I got all that, thanks. It sounds like I need to make a master archive for images, sounds and such so I don't have to remember what game had the sound/image I wanted. I think the arrows are great, they go with the Rube Goldberg theme looking like directions for building something.If you want to post it at VPF go ahead or I can. Thanks for all the GREAT HELP. I'll get started on another one but it may take longer than the first one as it will be farther along.

hey no problem! I had fun helping you with this one, and atm have two of my own I am currently working on. so you are keeping that playfield pic then? it really is tough to figure out just what it is, but if you say you are finished then I guess it is done. I will give you till tonite to reply, in the meantime I will look for a better playfield pic to use. OK? by 10pm EST I will have either a better pic for ya' or will let you keep what you have in there! I know you are proud of your setup in that pic but asidefrom exporting it into a art program it can't really be seen or fully appreciated for what it is. no disrespect intended here... just trying to help...

have a new backdrop for ya'

ok I put a few new things into the pin, like a red arrow for that other kicker hole, and a new table pic, using a toy my late dad made it's kind of a rube goldberg device but if you don't like it just put your '5' image back. the backdrop also has two rube goldberg drawings on it but again if you don't carwe for it just go into the backdrop editor (click on it) and put the old (rube bprint) image back there. I think my dads toy looks better than the old pic, but again I'm kind of biased here being he was my dad and he passed away just this past October so anything he made is special to me. but no guilt trips here feel free to use it or not, your discretion

I don't mind at all. I realize that the image only is important to me and that others won't get the same thing out of it that I will. Not a problem with me at all. I'll probably keep the 5 image for my own and we can add the others as a choice, with yours as the default. My friend is over right now and although he's not familiar with VP of any kind he can understand (apparently) so we may have a few tweaks like bonus or other things.

We'll call it a done deal after you put the new images on ok? My friend was able to put it a sort of bonus routine for the drop targets, but it's not done and he probably won't be over for a while. He knows code, but not VP. Although playing with the code my have hooked him on VP. I'm not that worried about putting in too many bells and whistles, after all, it's my first table-a steppingstone. There will be others.

what kind of bonus routine? I can have a bonus of 'whatever score' for each time the entire bank of targets is dropped (since there are four banks each one can have a bonus if they are all dropped in their respective sets, let me know... I'll do that now, then post it up here again so you can approve or reject it. hopefully then it'll be done, and we can upload it both here and at vpforums.org I'd like to post it there with a short blurb saying who did what on it, as well as in the table info, but honestly most people do NOT read the table info (I know... i have put instructions for each of my tables there and still have people asking "what do I hit for this" and stuff like that so obviously they don't read the table info area)

ok here is the final version (I hope) with the bonus scoring for the drop targets in place (you can see the bonus scoring code in the timer resets for each target routine) i am not posting a pic as nothing has changed on the table itself

I wasn't looking for a bonus routine my friend and I started playing and we were talking about code and stuff (he knows visual basic) so he was playing with different things to see what does what. We may have hooked another one because now he's thinking about putting VP on his computer. I think he's more interested in the code than playing personally. He's a childhood friend (of almost 30 yrs) and he's been doing computers since highschool. We've been going to arcades since then. I was always the player/breaker/fixer. I think the image I'm going to go with is the "stainless background with your dads toy in the background if it's ok with you. I think it keeps the playfield from looking too cluttered.

Nevermind what I said I hadn't had a chance to see what you had. We'll go with the image you got it looks better. I'll post it later tonight, I have to tear the cover off of some golfballs right now. I just realized we need a golf gif.

ok I'll bite, Why are you ripping the covers off golf balls? and just so ya' know I rarely play even my own creations as I would rather build than play too, it seems odd I know but I like to create rather than play. Some times I'll run one of mine but I really love to build and code.

It's just the way I hit the ball. My clubhead speed was measured a year ago when I was playing twice a week and hitting the weights twice a week and it was about 130 or so (ball speed 150). For comparison, Tiger's is 135(approx.) and I don't know what his ballspeed is but I'm sure it's improved recently. And he's 10 years younger than me. I've cracked balls and clubheads and one of my longest drives from a 421yrd. hole had 75 yrds for 2nd shot. I'll check it out , zip it up, and upload it tonight.

oh sorry I thought you meant in the literal sense! wow though not too shabby, though! I used to play golf in my teens but due to a recent back injury I don't even know if I can swing a driver any more, hence my love of all things indoor! (pinball being one of my indoor hobbies)
