i know i'm a pain in the arse and slow to understand things, but most / all of you
keep enlightening me through the months / years. even if i don't always acknowledge it.

it's especially cool to observe people who don't trumpet their horns over intelligence yet who nevertheless are some of the smartest people i've ever met, such as bob and kevin. add on top of that marty and arne, who i constantly struggle to keep up with.

so, just wanted to thank you for taking part. i'm like ERB, thanking you for allowing the best john carter and tarzan stories to be reprinted, in my own way.

hehe, thanks, bob. i didn't know what the date was, actually.

i think you might like it in peru. the people are pretty easy-going and enjoy jokes and simple pleasures. there is much less tension there than you have in this country over various issues.

when i'm there, the biggest thing i miss is the amount of greenery and animals that are so typical of most USA suburbs. 99% of the population lives in the coastal desert, which is unfortunately very drab, not nearly like the spectacular american SW or dry california coast. still, it's a very nice country to visit because of the people and all the awesome cultural artifacts, most of them pre-incan.

Nic, the feeling is mutual! You're one of the people that has always made the pinball forums a fun and interesting place to visit. Especially for someone like me, whose technical expertise doesn't extend far beyond "Mongo make flipper go up and down."

Thank you all for being here, even if I apparently can't count me as one of the mentioned people. You all are one or the most important reason, because of that I'm still here and posting.

I constantly lost interests in posting at pinball forums. Same (since several years in fact) also in playing tables. Somehow nearly everything about pinball has become boring last. Actually I guess I will probably cancel my involvement more or less soon. I don't feel involved anymore (whether here, nor there) and I don't see any need and much fun anymore to be around.

Maybe I will log in and read further, but I don't plan to be present as before.

I hope I will find some fun in playing tables again anyway.

but yea, lot of good gems in there. the 'teeny band gawking' mags are a riot, and there's also some flat-out awesome stuff, like the spirit run and love and rockets (not the band). quite convenient since i lost my entire collections of those years back in a house move.

This saddens me, I always enjoy reading your post and to be honest I am in a very similar position, I have not even used VP in over a year mostly due to lack of interest but it's people like you that have kept my interest in continuing to read the forums. I hope we both can find an interest in VP once again some day.
