Williams PIN·BOT (Williams, 1986) Switch Problem

I have a new problem with all the switches on column 5 where they will all work and then suddenly they all go out at the same time. They will remain out for a few games and then suddenly all return to working. Is it safe to assume that this is not an issue with the board?

I have searched along the green wire for a short but cant seem to locate one and since it occurs at seemingly random times it is hard to isolate. The Right 5-Bank switches do appear old and I am wondering if one of them gets stuck closed would that prevent all of the switches in that column from working?

Should I continue to search for a short or would the best approach be to replace all of the Right 5-Bank switches?

CHeck the connect for the column 5 wire at the board. It could just be a bad connection.
