pinball emulation on the wii?

I just got a modded wii with a 320 gig hard drive containing 60 wii games and emulators for nes, snes, various gameboys and sega genesis as well as most every game for these systems. The emulators run roms from an sd card. Does anyone know if it would be possible to put an emulator on the wii to play pinball roms? I have visual pinball on my pc, but it would be so awesome to have it on the wii. The guy who modded the system is more than willing to give it a go if it is possible, so I'm just seeking out preliminary info for him. Anyone have any advice? :headscratch:
 
Now that VP is open source I suppose it would be possible but I'm not sure that anyone who has the coding skills to make it happen would be interested in creating it. As it is now I don't think there is a way to have VP play on the wii if you think about the reason you can play nes, snes, sega, etc... is because someone took the time to port the pc emulators to work on the wii, the same thing was done for the original xbox as well and maybe some other consoles i'm not aware of.
