Pinball Nirvana to host VPM and FP tables

I would like to announce that Pinball Nirvana will now host both VPM and Future Pinball tables, in addition to hosting the Flipperless tables we always have. Access to the area for uploading either VPM or Future Pinball tables will be through the Download Page. Simply click on Add Download, and then choose which category your table belongs in from the pulldown menu. We will not host ROMs.

In addition to your zipped table file, you will need to upload a separate zipped file containing two screen shots, one a 640X480 jpg and the other a 150X113 jpg. Please mark this file as SS for whatever table you are uploading. This is required since not everyone who may approve tables uses both VPM or FP. The SS are needed for our database.

In addition, Pacdude has joined the Pinball Nirvana staff as an Administrator, and will oversee the VPM related forums. He joins StevOz and tiltjlp as Admins, and Patrick and Ohmwiz as moderators. Welcome aboard Dude.

I would like 2 C more - good eye candy 2 B sure. Speaking of 'secretaries', I am reminded of a time in Lost Angeles - so corrupt - this guy employing me would hire secretaries as part time whores. He paid them the same as me - but my job was far more valuable & complex (on the surface). Of course, the 'secretaries' also had their 'jobs' - 2 take phone messages and fu*k the boss! ha ha ha So, half their wage was 4 the actual official work, and the other half 4 whoring. I guess it's not a bad deal considering - they get a married guy so there's no 'psycho stalker' possability. In fact his wife worked in the same building, in the next room! I would hear them doing 'it' - pretty funny (rather like a silly porno?).

Hey I guess that was his fantasy - kind of a 'Clintonian' fantasy of co*ksucking 'secretaries' n' stuff. I wager the gals also didn't have 2 worry 'bout dissease either as he was an ugly guy n' probably doesn't get around - just the gals he pays at work? The funniest part was his 'anniversary'. He's all 'Happy Anniversary! :D' & she's all 'yeah... '. U C, in California (as in the rest of America really) divorce law is structured 2 destroy the man completely, so by refusing 2 divorce, she cannot steal his posessions - neat trick huh? I wager she was also legal partner in the business. Oh hey it reminds me of those 2 jews on that awful 'American Hot Rod' show - stil working with that troll biscuit of an X-wife, as she would otherwise steal his company. Nah, our staff is small really. Patrick isn't very involved because of the language barrier, and ohnwiz isn't very active becuase he is either working or restoring a Bally Airway. That leaves Steve, the Dude, and me. We don't host originals for the simple reason they are afraid to be stay on the top shelf where we had them. As for the Roms, you'll have to ask a Romulan where they are What do you want to consult about and how much are you willing to pay?And lastly. if you have jock itch, I'm sure not going to reboot your system for you. I think I covered all your ?s.Would you like to be our official forum jester?

PS: Two other folks have moderator status for different reasons. Phoenixx so he can maintain his Easy Install Kit and a possible expaned VPM troubleshooting section. And shiva, since he has helped us with technical issues when Jon isn't available, and partly out of respect.

Turns out I misunderstood Jon's intentions for hosting Future Pinball tables here, Since we are mainly flipperless, we will only be accepting flipperless FP tables. I hope my confusion doen't cause any grief for anyone other than me.

I agree, unless and until Black releases the next version with his promised flipperless template. Right now there is 1 flipperless FP table. If Black adds dropping walls, I might try making a few FP counter top games.

I don't usually hold people to their promises if they are working on something big, or running for office, or doing favors in a lot of cases. Things Change, fixes causes problems sometimes, tasks drag on, minds get focused, fellows block you (politicions), and work lists grow. You would rather have a flipperless template than ramps, but I bet if he was holding both in each hand with arm held out, the template would hit the ceiling.

Then again, sometimes it's good to work on easy things and build up features, and I think the template would be easy. And I think he did even say next version.

No, he said that a flipperless template would be in the next release. Whern I saw that I sent him a PM askinng for also a couter top template and dropping walls. He wrote back asking why I needed dropping walls, and I explained I need them in order to recreate counter top games. I haven't heard back from him since.

But I do know he's big on realism, and probably only wants pinball tables made, so I'm not expecting a counter top template, but that would be great. I have a great image for a counter top baseball game that would be fantastic for FP, but has to have dropping walls to do. I'd also like to try doing Gottlieb's Flying Trapeze in FP, but probably need dropping walls for that, since it has some very unique and unusual ball movement.

I've started making it in VP a few times, but there's too many less complicated tables I can do, so it hasn't been done yet. The challenge of making it in FP might just get it done. That table in itself is proof that flipperless doesn't always mean simple or boring.

That's great news Kristian. Just remember to include a seperate zip with the 2 SS, since half the time VPM doen't work for me, so I can't make the SS myself. And persoanlly I'd rather see new releases than old ones.
