What first brought you to PINBALL NIRVANA ?
August 2012, I was looking for help with Pin_Bot flash lamps that kept burning out. Apparently I said I'd report back... So, in the better late than never category; Yes the high voltage #1251 flashlamps did the trick. So thank you "hgpinball" for that advice...C_S

:idea: Pin-bot Has two flash lamps under the visor :idea:. They are referred to as the "EYES". They do get heavy use especially during "attract" mode. They seem quite bright(like almost blue) and blow in a matter of days to a week or two. Even solid state LED's go out after about a month ! Is there a higher voltage lamp that will fit these sockets in my game? Or Is something else amiss ?

i'm not even sure how to find it. any way i try to search, there seems to be a max of 500 results. that doesn't work for me, even sorting by threads.

anyway when this site first started, it was a VP specialty site for flipperless games... so my first post was probably very similar to steve's.

Go search > advanced search > Fill in user name > Sort Post Results > Last Posting Date > In Ascending Order > show results as posts...

On the top right of the page.
Where it says Welcome, and has your name.
Click your name.
Then click the statistics tab.

You can see all your posts in chronological order and threads you started all nice and neat no need to search.

Oh yeah, and you can click anyone's name in a thread, go to their profile and do the same thing.

Easy peasy.



Edit : It works everywhere else but here. Apparently Jon has added some limit of return from the DB. Apologies.

Yeah, but as Nic said it stops at 500.
We qualify because we are below the threshold and everyone with over 500 posts will only get last 500.

Dunno why Jon has it set up that way.

LOL! Sounds like someone wants to take me on in those soon-to-be-mandatory Trigon tournaments! Trigon was the first original table that just blew me away. But not the last. Does anyone here remember the name of that cat who made the Wallace & Gromit table? He also did one called Card Sharks that I swear played like it was a lost late-'70s Bally table. That game was probably the most addicting original I played. It was hard as hell to rack up all 52 cards!

Nice thread, loving our beginnings!

My first post is really the start but I must confess that I started this site for downloads and tiltjlp's perceived lack of flipperless tables on vpforums. I later added forums (phpbb) to make John happy and these earlier posts are imported phpbb posts.

The old vpforums at that time were starting to restrict how much stuff you can download and my mission was to allow unrestricted downloads, I'm most proud of the fact that since I got involved with VP sites, including IRPinball (over 13 years ago) nobody ever needs to login to PN or IRP to download files, there has never been a login requirement and many guests have discovered Pinball.
