many moons ago I scored these metal posts to replace some broken plastic ones.
Soon I will be cleaning up and restoring this machine and the metal posts aren't original equipment, so they will be replaced with plastic
So are these things valuable?, hard to get?

there are 6 normal hight and 2 tall ones

Not really valuable, but definitely useful. I suggest that you paint the posts to match the plastic ones, and put them back on the playfield where the plastic ones take the most beating.
