I've edited the recording backglass and playfield .bat files to enable the use of x265 codecs instead of x264 and also using the GPU for encoding
This should speed up recording quite a bit if recording in HD or higher, especially if recording 4K, and smaller files sizes with better compression and quality than x264 for the same bitrate
I've also included a couple of simple .bat files for converting any existing MP4 video files to x265 format and copies the audio the output file and also a simple script to rotate any video file to the right and convert to 16:9 for widescreen (I used this to convert MAME gameplay video to play correctly on my bartop pincab I built with add-on MAME)
Just copy them all to the PinUPSystem/Recordings folder. Overwriting the originals when asked. DO MAKE A BACKUP OF THE ORIGINALS FIRST
These work fine with my NVidia RTX3070 card, but should be okay for other NVidia GFX cards. I'm guessing it should work on AMD GFX cards as the commands should be the same as all I changed was the commands to use x265 GPU encoding. I haven't changed any AMD commands as I can't test them
To use the .bat converter scripts, simple copy the batch file to the folder you want to convert and also you NEED to copy the ffmpe.exe to the same folder otherwise it WILL fail. A folder will be created in the source folder called Converted_Video. The original files WILL NOT be over-written or deleted. It takes more time doing a folder at a time, but was simpler than converting multiple folders and avoiding any chance of converting files you didn't want converting
MediaFire link included in case attaching ZIP doesn't work, but its less than 3k file size so should be ok
