... is a new project I'm working on.
In a counterpart to Rapid...;)
It's neither a conventionally flippered nor a flipperless.
I think a little bit of both.
With experimental light double to imitate 3D render effect.
Tableslope 4,9!
Shake gently comes in accompaniment with a nice catchy tune...

Quite stunning

Walter, this is the third time I've seen this, and the more I see it, the more impressed I am. Too often "original" tables don't seem original at all, simply a little different look to what we've all seen before. You are not only original, but also very good. If I thought it would help me at all, I'd make myself green.

John

I'm not usually into originals but, this one has caught my eye.
It show a lot of "flair" and "lateral thinking".
Will have to keep an eye on this one.
Well done.
Cheers
Leon

Thanks a lot...

...John,
a good design not ever makes a good 'playable' table.;)
It's for sure an experimental way to shoot the ball from the
middle and make all components and parts fully cooperated.
This tableconcept is for those who wants to play more relaxed.;)
The gameplay is quite 'simple' - hit the small bumpers to drop upper
targets -> and shoot in time the right lane.
The table looks in movement much better, than the picture is showing.
The playfield is the result of an inspiration from your reactionbagatelle.
It's a colourwindow which parts are lightened by hitting a bumper.
Nice optical effect!

Leon, thanks for nice words especially from you, whose made so many
great tables.

Keep you updated...
Servus and thanks again
Walter

...not so colourfull, but this picture shows the light effect,
when a bumper was hit...
Cleaned up the playfield and add a cabinet.

Process update...

Looks great Starman! Don't you think it would even look better with a Spidey insignia or symbol on the table ;) I really like red and black.

OK, forget the Spidey suggestion, but we can never have enough Spidey tables. :)

Carry on!

Insipration

I'm thrilled that my Reactions gave you the idea for this table, which makes the third table influenced by Reactions. That means more to me even than people telling me how much they enjoy playing the table. I only wish I could make tables that look as sharp as yours do. But if we all made the same kinds of table, things would get a little boring, I guess.

And don't listen to Bob about another Spidey table, I think he has too many spiderwebs or something.

First of all, John; your work is excellent - not all tables are graphically perfect and that's the way it should be! Just keep yourself focused like you did with Reactions and all of your tables will rock and roll. I STILL play
Reactions when I have a spare second now and then - love the game. Don't sell yourself short when it comes to bagatelles. You ARE the master of them.

WALTER: GORGEOUS. Keep making tables like that and my tables look like an eyesore. I could NEVER draw as real as that, but some of my worx seem to be coming out nicely. Zipper Skill was FUN to redraw - I'm sure you're having fun redrawing like I do. You're hellbent on perfection just like me ;) I LOVE to redraw WHEN and IF I have time :p

Will

Thanks a lot!

I really appreciate this!
Bob,
Nobody can build tables for everybody. Maybe the next one is more in
red. ;)
John,
I do agree with Will, your work is excellent too!
Will,
thanks, but your work is definately NO eyesore, you must be joking!
I think, Bob is the person which task it is to cheer us up!
You do a great job in investigate old pictures and material to make
those wonderful recreations.

Process: Add a random start light on the 'plungerhome' for first hit bonus
(I hope I'll found a scripting solution for this).

Blue hit...

HOT DAMN!

Walter,

My God, if I could draw like that I wouldn't be the "pixel blastard" that I currently am. I got the name "perfectionist blastard" from the VP community and man it sure could rub off on you! OMG - you're work is simply gorgeous. Eyecandy is a great word to describe it!

Will / druadic

Thanks a lot,

it's a great honour for me to hear so nice words, especially from
people I do respect, due to their great works for all VP user's.

Now I'm working on to give that 'piece of gold' a nice gameplay.

Servus and again on this place too - good luck to John!!!

Walter

The Table looks outstanding Walter :)

I couldn't come close to anything this pleasing to the eye. I had been using Paint Shop Pro, but have decided to try Photoshop and find a couple of month's to learn it.

I really think that graphics are not my cup of tea, takes so much talent and patience that I don't have. 8)

Hi,

thanks Jon, I appreciete your compliment.
But I'm too far away to called master or similar, like John tiltjlp once said.
Well, I've got perhaps a little talente for graphics and design but
anyhow it needs a lot of patience and time to realize my inspirations.;)

Current screenshot shows nothing special new.
I wish I had more time to work on this table, we will see...

Hey starman, did you ever consider red rubbers on the flippers? I really like the gold... And Thanks for posting your WIP here!

Thanks bob,

I've begun, so I had to continue! -

You want red spider flipps...
You mean something like that...

Now those are awesome! I was really just kidding ;) do they work? Or is this just a trick photo 8-[

It could work if I draw it in several angles. As EMreel flippers...
But you said it - it's a faky trick... and maybe a good suggest
for your next table, Bob...Hm?

Process is very slow but sure...

I'm busy working on a new project and I decided to keep Nova Shake on "ice" and hope I get more ideas to complete this project this year.

Please be patient, I think it's worth to wait.
I don't want to rush anything. Thanks!

Back with Nova again...
...still working on it...currently on the scripting part.
Graphics are 98 % complete.
Energy level (electric meter) implemented.
Magnet added.
Maybe also animated text...

The screenie shows Nova in multiball mode - energy fully charged.

Walter

Great design and graphics work, unique concept and layout, I'm looking forward to playing this.
