Gottlieb Solved Sky Jump (Gottlieb, 1974) Wedgehead EM- Replay issues

Hello,
I recently purchased a Gottlieb Sky Jump EM machine from a warehouse for very cheap. I wanted a project to maybe build up a collection of machines someday, for I am 17 and I don't want pinball to die.
Anyways...
I am having an issue with adding replays. Whenever I press the start button, the credit unit decrements, but whenever I trigger a credit, the score motor turns but nothing happens to the credit unit. Also, whenever I reach one of the replay scores (53,000), no credits are added. I'm starting to wonder if it has to do with the score motor switches or maybe one of the relays down in the cabinet.
Maybe I need to file a couple switches, because they are all configured correctly (I have the schematics and I am very familiar with it).
Any ideas as to where the problem could be?
Has anybody else had the same problem?
Any input is helpful.

the credit unit advance coil may be bad. the credit unit mech. may be gummed up or sticking. check credit unit advance circuits on schematic for coin and replay scores. problem could be bottom stack switch on credit unit that controls advance coil.

Well, it turns out that the coil was bad. There was some burning on the coil sleeve.
I had a replacement coil I got from my uncle (he didn't want it for his machine) and I used it instead of the burnt one. Credits are now registering and now I can get the special again!
I replaced the coil late last night, and I am very excited to get home and play my [fully working] machine.
I looked on a few sites and some said that coils rarely need replacement. I guess it was a blue moon last night.

the IPDB has some info on this pin but not much
seems to be a rare pin of sorts

just remember to always replace a bad coil with the correct one never sub a lower voltage coil
it may not only burn out but also may take the entire pin with it or anything else on that particular line
(the other flipper coil, etc.)

I made sure it was the right coil. I got out the manual, looked up the part number and confirmed it with the marking on the actual coil. Machine is working great. Can't wait to get home and rack up some replays!
I did look at IPDB before I bought it. I had never seen a Sky Jump before then. It looked like a fun table, so I purchased it and put it back in a fast paced playing condition. I really hope this is just the start of a collection.

Since that problem has been fixed, I even decided to raise the replay score values up a notch.

Can't wait for my next project! I have my eyes on some project machines I saw in a warehouse. I hope my family doesn't mind another machine or two!
