I had driven through almost waist deep water, which shorted out my seatbelts. (They run on cables when you open or close the door). So I posted that I had played U-Boat Commander, waiting for an explanation of what to fix. I got back "you have working seatbelts?!" Apparently this is a rarity because there are no parts for the seatbelts- junkyard only, no aftermarket parts are being made. Thanks to these guys I'll get a few more years out of my car. Despite it's age I can take my wife's Versa in a race. Had it to 105 this past Memorial Day on a trip. It's been like 15 years since I had it to 100.

i've been using this stuff for a few years now and i have to admit it's rather miraculous. i think it also works perfectly with hair regrown with minoxidil, which tends to be very fine.

as a matter of fact, when i occasionally run out of the fibres and don't feel like spending money, i just collect my own clippings, cut them in to fine pieces, add a little cocoa powder to prevent caking, and use that instead. it works almost as well. :D

I believe that one is using square waves + reverb. A Theramin produces sine waves. Still fun.
You can create a Theramin by using Generate > Tone > Sine Wave in Audacity, then use Effects > Tremolo (Triangle), Pitch Shift (for sweeps), then Reverb (use Damping and turn down reverb to prevent clip chirps). Kind of like this:

Wait... were they actually, like, werewolves? Because I'd guess Teen Wolf... but it doesn't sound like Teen Wolf. I kinda remember it happening... well, glad I didn't have anything important planned today so this can bother me for a couple hours!

anyway, i *think* the movie was about a group of 20-ish, hipster-ish friends in NYC. when they go out to a loft party or some such, that's when one of them howls just for fun, and some girl unexpectedly joins him.

i think the cast was sort of a notch below the 'breakfast club'-types... actors who didn't quite develop in to A-listers. altho i seem to recall this was a fairly well-known movie at the time. maybe around the late 80's or so.

After a beat someone howls back and he and all his friends laugh and he says something like he's gonna check that out. I can think of every single thing except what movie it's from! I think it's post-John Hughes but the best I can do at placing it is somewhere between 1987-2010... because it almost sounds like a scene from Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist. Well, it'll be easy to figure out. I'll just have to watch every film between those years that concerns post-adolescents and features a party. Can't be more than 3 or 4. Hundred. And we can't rule out post-modern slasher movies like Scream(s)... it could be a scene from one of those, like Cabin In the Woods... so that adds a hundred or so more movies
