Soundtrack project on hold

To the communities of PN and VPF,

I wish to thank everyone who has supported the soundtrack project to this point. If some of you have noticed there hasn't been anymore additions to the project in quite some time. Part of the reason is the site server issue and the other reason is that I have a brain tumor and because of that it has caused me to not be able to focus well on the simplest things much less time consuming things. the bad news is and the reason I am sharing this info with everyone is that I haven't been responding to traditional treatments to shrink the tumor. The tumor is rather deep inside my brain and if not seen to could cause me to have a massive stroke and die. Recently I was told about an experimental procedure that is not very invasive but was extremely risky and since the tumor is considered inoperable it may be my only chance for survival. Tomorrow at 3pm Texas time I will be having this procedure done. Am I scared? Very. There is a chance that I may not make it and there is a chance I could end up a "vegetable" but I figure it is a risk that is worth taking. Good news is I have a very competent surgeon doing the procedure which is what has eased my mind a lot. If all goes well I could be back to normal life in about 2 to 4 weeks. I'm taking a laptop with me so I or my wife can let everyone know how the results came out. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a great group of people and hope that I will get to continue to be a part of the community. I'll be online off and on today but have lots to do. I was saddened by this news and also wish you the best, thanks much Sean for all of the pinball music.

A friend of mine was considered epileptic up until he was 30 years old, he had seizures occasionally after being attacked by a dog and the doctors finally discovered his brain tumor. He had surgery 14 years ago (they couldn't use anesthetics) and has been fine, i wish you the same success.

I'm out of recovery now the surgery took 90 minutes and went better than expected. My head hurts a little and I am sleepy but I am going to eat here in a minute so I thought I would let everyone know what was happening

modern medicine is so wonderful. Only 90 minutes? Wow, wish that was all it is for me every year.

I think sharing it with the community probably helped, and this is not a unnecessarily a religious statement, but is still a scientific one, one that is over my head, but I have read about. In a nut shell subjects (plants mostly, because you can not assure an animal is not sicker than the other) is subjected to meditation, prayer, thoughts, ect. all grew faster and better than those that were ignored.
Anyway, I feel better personally, as well as about you. I was worried, but mostly confident. When they know what is wrong, and how to fix it, there is every reason to have confidence in these wonderful people.

I am doing much better now I am in a little pain and the stitches itch but other than that I have noticed a big difference in my ability to focus. Thanks to everyone here for your kind words and thoughts it is much appreciated
