Hi,

New to the forum and the field (kind of), I am trying to restore a Space Mission pinball, but I am encountering problems that i can not diagnose.

When turned on, it seems to initialize fine. I can trigger the coin mechanism, it works also

but

- No matter how many coins I add, the 2,3,4 player can play light never lights up, maybe this is a minor problem like a bulb, not the most important at this time.

- When I press the start play button, the score counter for player 2 tries to reset itself but never ends this process, the wheels keep turning.

- The field is never active, it lights up, but noting on it works, I suspect this is due to the issue just above.

I posted a video here, I would appreciate any help on where to start to diagnose the problem and hopefully fix it.

thanks !!!

check your solonoids sounds like one of the switches is stuck
clean them all with a file card if gold or an emory board if not gold plated
make sure that the switches are not touching when the game is in play

see all those relays under the pf they all have to be cleaned and adjusted
and any others I did encircle the relays so you know what to look for'
but again All leaf switches contacts gotta' be cleaned and adjusted
hope that solves that constant running problem

the 2nd player score reels that keep turning are the problem. the 3 switch stack switches on the score reels need to be checked. the top 2 switches should be open when at zero position, and are closed in 1-9 positions. before adjusting switches tighten down the stack screws and be sure the actuator is in-between the switch blades. lightly file clean switch contacts. if these switches closed at the wrong time the score reel will keep turning or the reset relay will not release. check operation of the score reels to a good working reel next to it. the 3rd switch in the stack, usually the lower switch is the 9th position carryover switch and is not involved in the reset sequence. double check all the score reel stack switches on all the score reels on all players that they are open in zero position.

Thanks guys, sorry for the late answer. I will try to decipher your advice and try them out :)

B2S server.exe Version 2.5.0.320 How can you make the B2SDMD stay on Visible. Make it the default instead of hidden. Did new install of 10.8 final have many tables I would have to open to change to visible instead of hidden. Any help would be much appreciated.

@ejrcooney Try right clicking on backglass with mouse pointer, and you should see B2S DMD Visibility setting at top of window.
