Spiderman Arrives

Hi Bob

December 24, there is an e-mail for me that my Spiderman has arrived at the depot, great moments, bad timing.
I had to wait until the following Wednesday to pick up my new game.

3 hours later

I get the box up into the shed and open it

But it is too soon to play, a few modes I want to add need to be added first

First up, Spidy topper. Much easier to add before it is up

Add Chrome lock-down bar, and chrome legs
(I will get chrome side rails later)

You cannot see much in the picture but I have added colored lamps to the villain spotlights
Green on the Goblin, yellow on Sandman, red on Venom and a color changing LED on Doc Ock
I have added a few red bulbs to the GI circuit, it brings out the red on the Spiderman plastics
I will add green bulbs under The Goblin, I only had one green bulb, even that was an improvement
I will also add blue bulbs under the Venom playfield inserts as the look a little washed out

So, here it is, set up

Oo er...shiny, does it accept AU currency? Never seen one IRL over here, then again I don't visit Perth very often and that's about the only place I'd be likely to find one here in WA. You ever considered buying a bakery or retiring in Dunsborough Pete.

It is an 'Export' model, made for 'Australia' (That is what is stamped on the box
It does not have the coin mech inside the door, I think they cost $400-$500
It is an electronic box, not the mechanical gizmo from games before 1990
