- Sarebbe possibile "falsare il bagliore della lampada" come vediamo nelle vecchie tabelle VP? In altre parole, l'immagine sorgente viene semplicemente schiarita/sfocata per simulare le lampade sottostanti. Sono molto, MOLTO pessimo con GIMP, ma ho cercato di creare un campione grezzo di come potrebbe apparire vagamente. (Allegata)

- Sono d'accordo con Nitro, la tua fisica è davvero superba e il tavolo suona davvero in modo simile a quello che possiamo vedere su Youtube. IMO questa è la cosa importante in un gioco più vecchio come questo.
Ti ringrazio molto,si è vero ho lavorato molto su questo tavolo in fatto di fisica,mi ci sono avvicinato molto a quella reale? lo spero....Quindi,le mie convinzioni a riguardo funzionano,peccato che quasi nessuno sia interessato.

No, I only Google-translated from ENG to ITA.

I don't see the point in translating back as a counter-test, because with each translation, usually the meaning gets a little worse.

Actually it's pretty hilarious to see what happens when you translate a bunch of times between two or three different language types. Whatever the original meaning was, it will tend to turn in to nonsense, eventually.

Okay once again-- any extra flashing that doesn't happen in the real game is a distraction to me.

For example, if I look at videos of the real machine and compare with yours, there are still places that have unnatural flashing, like across the side rails (not ball trails) and a couple other places. This extra flashing doesn't go away when you hit the correct special key, understand?

And YES, the special key does turn off the extra flashing on the background, but not in other places.

I've made this same observation three times now, and I'm getting tired of saying it. Hence, this will be the last time I mention it.

Also, please understand that I'm giving this feedback not just for my personal preference (because I don't spend much time playing tables), but because I'm quite sure others will feel the same way, such as the person who was commenting on page one.

Hmm. It looks to me like certain prefixes might have gotten disabled for threads, even though they're still available for resources. You would have to ask @JonPurpleHaze to be sure.

The prefixes are not automatically added to the release threads but they are available. If you edit your original (first) post in the thread they can be added. They are not disabled! I went ahead and added the same prefixes that are listed in the Resource entry.

Probably you, or don't remember it, or maybe I explain or I wrote it badly......you don't need to tell me three times or 1000 times, because I already talked about this to "dreamstate".....the lighting effect, or what distracts you, is what activates when you hit the bumpers or slingshot, you can't deactivate it via "keys", I never said that you can deactivate it..... if you see this

Even if i do an english translation, it makes no sense to me, where are you talking about something that distracts you ..... but what?

- Unfortunately, even when the background is off, the table still shows the rails and playing field, unlike in the real game. It's fun for a while, but it soon gets distracting. So, would it be possible to disable that stuff with the special key too?

As I said to "dreamstate"in the next version 1.5, I will remove this distraction of the lighting effects ..... I know that in the real one there are not .... (but this is an effect that I like, I didn't think it had this effect on people),but I understand that they can be annoying........this issssss........ the third time that I say it, but I have no problem saying it even 1000 times.

since multi prefix is enabled, maybe you will now consider a new type prefix, Future Pinball .....

Some are definitely disabled in various areas, meaning the release thread prefixes can't match the resource entry.

For example, "VPX" and "Stern", here:

Does this make any practical difference? Hell if I know.

You're right. Making the same observation three times or 1,000 times evidently has an identical effect.

Glad we cleared that up, and I look forward to our ride to toyland one day.

I need to find time again to go through every individual prefix setting in the Forums and Resource categories to select which ones should be active for that forum or category. When new forums or categories are created they don't automatically add prefixes which can be selected.

You sample above has been fixed, the settings for the prefixes in the Forums and Resources are different, going to take some time. :shaking:

Honestly, I wouldn't sweat such minutiae if I were you, Jon.

Like-- I remember how many dang forums & subforums there were (or still are), and the mind-bendingly PITA task of deciding which set of prefixes should be turned on or off for each section.

Yeah, sod that, mate.
Far more practical, I reckon, is to do an initial best-guess upon necessary prefixes, then adjust based on user feedback, etc.

I welcome you to continue calling me "Ike" or "Nic," particularly since "Ike" is just a nickname for "Isaac," after all.

Beause when I updated my ID lately, it was mainly just for fun, and in fact to encourage people to keep calling me "Ike," short for "Isaac."

not exactly, it depends what you talk about, and who you talk to.
for example, the fact of the lighting effect, that you find it distracting, I had understood unilt it from the first time you said it, in fact I had also said it to "dreamstate", anyway, now I publish version 1.5.

without rancor my friend, life goes on, and the journey by train is very long.:lol:

* removed the lighting effect.
* removed ball trail.
* removed gameroom.
* fix the score player 3 to 4.
* added the 4 lamp in wheel of fortune.
* added shadow maps.

Nice changes you've made to the table. Everything I found objectionable has been altered and I've been playing it for a couple of hours now. Few more cosmetic changes might make it more visually pleasing. Notably the pop bumpers. When lit they don't look like they're being lit by bulbs. The whole thing just looks like it's had it's exposure turned up. While the rest of the pop bumpers that are not being lit up are under exposed. They don't have a nice warm yellow glow in the center like all the rest of the bulbs on the playfield. Apart from that it looks great. Thanks for your hard work on this one!.
 
Aw, I really liked the ball trail, maybe because it's something I'd never seen before in FP-BAM.

What would be ideal to me is to keep the ball trail and make it an option with a special key. Exactly like it was before.

Then what I'd do (just for myself) is to go in to the script and attempt to dampen the effect a little bit so that 1) only with the fastest shots would it be visible, and 2) the trail would be a little shorter.

Anyway, I'll take a look at the 1.5 version soon, and probably leave some feedback.

Added the FP prefix to the system, realized that there's content that might not be in FP Forums and/or Resource categories labeled as Future Pinball.
