surfaces set for collision

whrn a surface overlays a slingshot similar to a divertor for fizx do you turn off ball collision and use a fizx rail or diverter on the rubber or do you just use it on the surface.

Its kind of like a technique similar to fizx the rubber has the sound but the surface detects the vall collision. Or am I missing something?
