Williams Swinger (Williams, 1971) problem

I have a 1972 swinger em
I need help
on a two player game light will change to second player but
will score 1st for a total of nine balls
then on the last ball it will score on second player
please help driving me crazy any ideas?

What happens when you switch it to three ball game? Hey, about the game play and scoring ... what does the 'Swing Reel' do? Wish I could find a schematic to view on line.

That was not a diagnostic question. I was just curious about that fifth scoring wheel and what it does.

seems odd that it works fine on fifth player only
it switches to two for ball 1-4 bot only energizes second score reel on fifth ball

the 2 things to check are the ball count unit and the player up relay, looks like both are in the head. check the ball count unit for proper advance and reset operation and clean rivets on the board and proper tension and alignment on the wiper fingers. the player up relay( i think its called that ) is usually a long blade switch relay should pull in and release for first or second player. this relay prob. gets its power from the ball count unit disc.
