Table freeze

Hello All

Could anyone Please and tell me why my table freezes up after playing for a while? Only when I play (Star_Wars_JP_1.1)(Attack_Revenge_from_Mars_JP_1.1) tables!

Right in the middle of play as I hit the ball with the flipper the game crashes and freezes up!
I am using Vpinmame ver.8.1 and I also disabled all direct draw and direct 3D accelerations on my monitor.

It's seems to me that some of the JP Tables are doing this!

It's a shame cause they look and play great! Nice and big.

Is there any fixes for the game sudden freezes on these tables?

oh, wait...

anyway, i don't know. try a different version of VP7 or VP8? look in the release thread for that table and see if anyone else was having that problem?

I don't have a solution, but I can tell you that you're not alone. I get the same table-freeze from time to time, often on JP's tables. For me, it seemed to start happening after I installed Sims 2 on my computer. There were some helpful suggestions on how to correct it on the old VP Forums site, but nothing that fixed the problem completely, unfortunately. If you find an answer, please be sure to post it!

Click on F6 key and try disabling the "Fading Lights" and/or "GI Effects".

It sounds like your computer can't handle the effects. Mine doesn't freeze, but it does create some nasty slowdowns with those effects turned on.
