I thought it was downright Stupid back when the US decided that food manufacturers be allowed to 'cut back' on the product nutritional information listed on food packaging, cans, etc. The current labeling provides next to no information whatsoever.
So it helps that the USDA has this website for looking up "the missing nutritional information" now that the manufacturers refuse to print it on their own goddamn box, however, the information provided by this site is Still not complete and may not indicate the availability of nutrients such as bioflavonoids, inositol, etc., so be aware of that.
On this site, enter search terms up to five words, for instance, white grapefruit juice, use the pulldown for choosing the food type and click the button to get "the better nutritional label".
