The irritating left column of the Forums

Jon, is there any way that you can add an option for the left column to disappear while reading the forums. It has always been irritating to me, but it now has become so irritating, that I choose to not read the posts.

The Latest Gallery Additions viewer spins by so fast and is so distracting that it drives me crazy and my only thought is to hit the X in the top right corner.

Please give me the option to not view it.

Did you try clicking the "maximize" link at the top of the page ? This hides the left column for me.

I changed these forums a long time ago, per your request...
You don't have to see the left column, I call it the ole Bob's left margin hack...

I run at 1280 X 1024 and maximise makes no difference. I still see the left column.

I knew I didn't always have to look at that, but lately I forget more than I remember.

Thanks for the info Rockinghorse, I can't use that resolution on my pc but I'll see if anything can be done about it. Maximize does work at 1024x768.

I've never trusted Spidey Vision, stuff get's in your mask and then weird shit appears...
