I agree, but you know the Puritanical ethos don't like it. They can't use him on a box of Wheaties (Weedies!). That would be like mixing pinball with Miss America.

wait just a sec, what's bad with pinball? I can understand slot machines maybe but pinball? ok 30 years ago it was outlawed in most of the U.S. but times have changed! there's even pins at Chuck E. Cheeses in Jersey! i know i used to clean and fix them there! Pinball has come into mainstream nowadays! hence the zizzles for sale in target and the many handheld devices, heck you can even get them on your cellphones, now. not that Miss americas are known for their intelligence anyhow, so yeah maybe pinball would be too intellectual for them! kind of like putting opposites together; like 'Jumbo Shrimp' or 'Military Intelligence' (both George Carlin references)

Just because Chuck E. Cheese stocks pinball doesn't mean the franchise isn't credited to Nolan Bushnell. Quite the entreprenuer he is. I was actually taking a swipe at the current VPF server incidents.

EDIT: The Zizzle doesn't matter. I bought a Marx Toys "Three Keys to Treasure" pinball game from Sears and Roebucks (now Sears) in 1961 with my Christmas money (I was 7), even though pinball was illegal for commercial use.

About Chuck E. Cheese, were your pinball machines set to "novelty play only"?
My local store always was/is, though I can't tell if NASCAR is set to that or not.
I can't play it long enough to find out!
If your machines were set to Novelty Play, then did the management ever tell you the reason for it?

Actually it can - I am deadly allergic to the stuff. If I walk into a room and cop a bit of the old passive, it can be enough to put me into a seizure.

wow! I never knew you could be allergic to weed! is it the thc or just the fact it has pollen? like ragweed and other weeds?
andour Chuck e. cheese in Union NJ had 'free games' set so you could 'pop' a game when you beat the high score! we even held contests where the high scorer of the week got a free pizza pie! we'd hold those contests on the weekend to keep kids from cutting school just to play! we also held the same contest for the skeeballs we had 5 of'em, we eventually had to install 1/4" Lexan sheets over the actual scoring holes to keep kids from cheating; we installed it over the cages on the front so you couldn't toss the balls in but had to honestly roll them up the alleys. whether illegal or not we generated tons of money thru these contests! I worked thru a vending co. at the place, this chuckie was owned by a former employee of the vending co. so we had an 'in' there, and it helped alot! I kept his stage characters running (pistons and hydraulics!) and his rides, he let us keep 10 pins and about 30 video games in there!
