Isn't technology wonderful?

I've been improving my skills the last few days, and since I have a decent computer with lots of vram at this location, I've been working on improving my images and increasing sizes. I just acquired a new up scaling system, and boy is it good. You need a bit of vram, but this can save a lot of work with images, especially if you require resizing a small image or need to really sharpen up a image.

I'm loading in a couple samples. Some images are just too fuzzy to save, but it does a wonderful job on playfield images and considering the vast majority of images are too small or a bit too fuzzy, if people want to use this thread, have a older computer with less vram and ask for up scaling and better quality images for use with their tables, I will be happy to do them up for you. Just attach the images here. Doesn't take me long to do these.

Here's some samples... As you can see, it does a very good job, especially the playfields. The plastics it did fine.

You talking about the image editor? No. This is a AI based multiple model setup, you can select the model depending on the type of image, for photo/digital art/painted etc, and enlarges and enhances low-resolution images using err... "advanced AI algorithms". I was getting tied of spending hours of work cleaning up images and redrawing them etc, this does it pretty quickly and can do a amazing job. The on-line stuff, especially the free ones, just don't seem to do as good as a job, and the amount of detail and clarity added is pretty amazing. This does a far better job than photoshop at the very least, and as good or better than the paid image online sites and some of those are scams or use the non-commercial version of Ultramix or Remacri. I am buying more models, but going through examples at the moment. You need about 10G of VRAM but like everything else, the more the better.

The AI stuff is pretty interesting and certainly has it's uses. Even the online stuff is great, but my next step is to start generating images on my desktop as I am a little shy on the creative side. I'm finally, after years, getting up to snuff on making images, so I am upgrading my photoshop stuff with new extensions and plug-ins, so the offer stands. I'm finally able to do this after all these years, and I know how hard it is for some people with limited resources due to hardware (or in my case ability). Even cartooning stuff is pretty easy now. So that's why I'm offering.

I may create a new thread, and put up proper samples. I'm sure others can help as well. We kind of need this as a community, and the amount of time it can save as considerable. I can cartoon/comic book a image 1000x1000 in less than a minute, so would be happy to do it if someone needs help.

I can't read some of the upscaled text on your examples but then I can't read it on the original files either so it is not a fault of the program. It might require some touch ups.

I think the free version of Upscayl works nearly as well, as long as you place a check mark on the option "Double Upscayl" before you run it. The option that seems to work the best for me is "Ultramix Balanced". The "Digital" may work best on cartoon like textures that have large fill areas of one color.
