US Death Star coming..

A petition demanding the President Barack Obama administration build a Death Star like the one in Star Wars reached 25,000-plus signatures Thursday, a threshold requiring the government to respond whether it will build the fictional weapon capable of annihilating planets with its super laser.

This I think would be enacted upon in the good old Bush daze, that said I fully expect it will be given serious consideration to sidetrack real issues.

why waste time building a fictional weapon to annihilate a planet when the real thing (called "humanity") is functioning just fine?


in other news, obama is apparently going to cut funding to the helicopter surveillance budget dedicated to spotting fields of pot (so they can be eradicated). all part of the shining stroke of insight in to the fact that the decades-old war on drugs program has been an abject failure. so at this rate, govt is in danger of treating cannabis in a sensible manner in a mere couple of centuries! woohoo! by that time there will probably be a few multicellular lifeforms around that will be jumping for joy. :D

Well why bother with helicopters when you can lazer eradicate them from space! :)

Though I fully concur, the war on drugs is as the same as the war on terrorism or the new war on the internet or better still the the copyright war of it's own making.

Strange when sensible proposals are made, the solution is to kill the messenger or message....oops doesn't work, that damn internet!

What happened to for the people, by the people, of the people I guess that went by the way side for the war for the profit and collateral damage?

Medical Marijuana is alive and well in this town.
There are two dispensaries just one block from here and maybe three more shops on the same street within 2 miles.
