VP Not working on windows Vista - lots of error messages

Hi everyone!

Im new to visual pinball, and I am getting mad here trying to make this work under win vista 64bits and win 7 32bits and never manage to get success. Today I tried to install the visual pinball pack under win XP and it worked. Here at home I did the same thing I did on my friend´s house again, downloaded medieval madness and cirqus voltaire tables and roms to test and after click on "play" on vpinball I keep receiving the folowing error messages and then the tables closes automatically (and the script screen opens):

* Unable to load VPinMAME: ActiveX component cant create object
* Line 134 Object required: 'controler'
* Unable to open wpc.vbs
* VPinMAME ver 01120100 required
* WPC.vbs ver 3.1 or higher required
* Line 50: variable is undefined


what the hell is going on? this is driving me crazy

You need to run Visual pinball as ADMINISTRATOR under Vista and Win7.

I already tried to run it as administrator.

Don't know if this will solve it, but it's something to try.

I ran into an issue like this just in the last few days while installing some software on a friend's recording studio pc.

Even though I was logged in as him on the Administrator account, the install would not go in properly until I went to Control Panel and turned off the User Access Control.

The procedure is as follows:

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

In “Control Panelâ€, click User Accounts and Family Safety.

In the “User Accounts and Family Safety†window, click User Accounts.

In the “Make changes to your user account†tasks window, click Turn User Account Control on or off.

If UAC is currently configured in Admin Approval Mode, the User Account Control message appears. Click Continue.

Clear the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box, and then click OK.

Click Restart Now to apply the change immediately, or click Restart Later to close the User Accounts tasks window. Note that you must reboot the system to make the change effective.
