VP8 - Black boxes around objects.

I have a problem with Visual Pinball 8 graphics. On every table, there would be black boxes around flippers, bumpers, and plungers. The tables still play fine, though. Example screenshot is below.

Are you sure you are using the VP8.exe when starting VP8 tables?
If you have VP9 installed, the VP8 tables will automatically open with VP9, because of the .vpt extension.
Go into your Visual Pinball folder, (Where you installed the program), and try running VP8.exe from there and see if that helps.

This is the strange part. For some strange reason, when I load the VP8 tables through VP8.exe, the black boxes are present, but when I load the VP8 tables with VP9.95, the black boxes are gone.
