It's not my intention to insult you, but if you press, you were a typical VPF staffer, and that of course is insulting.
You are not now, and you know, as everyone else here knows, I have gotten along with you here. The only problem was when you infer that I am better now than I was then. I understand that you said the same about yourself but I still will take offense at the suggestion that I could have been or should have been, any better of a person.

The whole story is I asked for moderation and the staff decided that no staffer would provide that, and would not let the couple that wanted to proceed. It was an uneven exchange as I called no one names. That's the whole story Nick and you know that. You were as big a part of it than anyone else. Add to that the 'PacDud', 'Mr Wanker' thing, which I have, and you can see that the staffers lips were clamped to Mr. Wanker.

No action on my part would have made VPF any better. It was what it was, and the only thing I did was to fight for it to be better, because as long as it was at a point where the staff would support people like Leo against people like me or PacDude, regardless of the facts of the matter, It had problems. You either wanted chaos, and have nothing to complain about, or were sick with narcissism, and should be happy as well.

I think you are just inciting again, suggesting there is more to the story that you don't know about.

If you think it is awesome to let other's pride migrate to you because you joined them, if you think saying talk to the finger is the worse thing you ever read and way over the top as a response to being called an idiot. If you think having that post remain throughout your term as it did throughout the other's was worth the trouble you knew it would cause, if you think promising to unban me and then banning me again was funny, then you were an awesome admin. and don't let anyone tell you different.

You know I don't think there ever was a good Staffer in any position at VPF, so don't take this personally.

I know you were being nice in your own way when you said you wished I was like I am now, back then, but you also know how simple a request, yes, demand, it was that would have made that so, so don't tell me about your wishes for that time. You got your wish.

Looking at the wikipedia for the song, it was used in Saturday Night Fever but was cut from the soundtrack when his manager decided that its inclusion would hurt the sales of the Disco Duck standalone album. The soundtrack album then went on to sell 40 million copies.
I remember it and Bee Gees literally flying off the stacks of palates at Tower Records back in the day. Three palate stacks of SNF soundtrack vinyl album at a time, or within 72 hrs. and repeat.

So Dees got screwed out of a million dollars.

side note: what truly blows me away about most folks is how they all started out so VERY much more well-adjusted than i did (i had five different parenting situations in my first 6-7 years, then was an unwanted child from age seven-on), but how life and nature directed me to take on that terrible homework, walk through the wasteland with little if any immediate reward, and finally come out so much better than the poor sufferers all around me.

Existence and self-discovery were all that mattered then.

I use Firefox because it has the add-ons I like and is way better than IE.
I do think Chrome is a little faster but I just don't like the look of it.

Hey! What's this "browser" crap doing in the Disco Duck thread? Oh... never mind. I should mention that I've been using Firefox for about 8 years, back when it was more secure than IE. But, I must admit, I've been enjoying using Chrome on the Ipad. One big drawback to any Ipad browsers... No Adblock add-ons. Never realized just how well that add-on works for Firefox.
I owned Disco Duck on 45. My way of confessing my sins.
