Me, I like to go up there on stage, and sing "Who's Gonna Drive You Home, Tonight?" and the DJ / KJ loves me, but barely anyone in today's audience knows what the hell I'm singing about, lol.

I love Glenn Miller. The sound quality on the video is better than expected. Glenn Miller died before stereo was invented so most recordings don't sound as good as they could. Most of the other big bands lived long enough to rerecord their music in stereo. Interestingly, Glenn Miller didn't like "In the Mood". He wrote it so he would have something people could dance to. His characteristic sound was produced by having a saxophone play the same melody as the clarinets but play one octave lower.

You should get the album "In the Digital Mood". It is a newer recording by the Glenn Miller band but without Glenn Miller. The sound quality is incredible and it seems to have Glenn Miller's style.

Yeah i put it up as a funny reply being called "tired old men" , but i like all eras of music , there is something from most musical eras i like.
Glenn Millers Moonlight Serenade one of my favs.

I have quite an open mind to most things overall.
