05-06 Pink Floyd – 1975-04-26 Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena 02 – Raving And Drooling (1975)
— touring in support of the “Wish You Were Here” album, following this song they played that in its entirety, then after a break played most of “Dark Side Of The Moon”, with “Echoes” off the album “Meddle” as the smashing encore. Took the band a couple more years to refine “Raving And Drooling” into the sheeps-rights anthem for the 1977 album “Animals” where “raving and drooling” became “bleating and babbling”.

Led Zep for ever

Oldies but goldies...

An other oldies but goldies...

Hahaha, and they did it [MUMMER style](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mummers), of all things! XD

I suppose nobody here knows what the hell I'm talking about, but it's a really funny annual parade in Philadelphia, a bit analogue to Mardi Gras.

So... a buddy of mine on a different platform wrote some parody song lyrics for a... short, goth tune.

Eh, since I know fluff-all about "Goth" and "Metal," and whatever else,
I just... run with it / ran with it (whatever).

Bah! After some experimentation, it actually sounds... kinda familiar?!?

I suppose nobody here knows what the hell I'm talking about

I didn't though I do get it now.

Though the original reason for posting that tune near Saint Patrick's Day was as a hint to the hidden Easter eggs in the Saint Patrick's Day logo.

Just so you know many of our site logo's have Easter eggs.

*Edited to attach logo...

Truly, a terrifying / humiliating moment for any authoritarian:

Not sure if that movie made it to Oz ("Ferris Bueller's Day Off"), but it was a hit comedy film in the States, back in... 1986.
(huh! my first year of college)

To be clear, the song had an iconic connection to the movie, and vice-versa.

Oy mateys,
now did you happen to check out the song from Suno, above?
Not saying it's anything special, but when I helped 'compose it' with two internet buddies, I got a sense of just how far AI has come.

Fact is, it's kinda scary, really. Like-- doesn't that vocal sound nuanced and authentic? Don't the instrumentation sound on point?

Seriously, it's almost like-- JUST LIKE THAT we went from fairly primitive, MIDI-style AI music generation just a few years ago to... &^#%!@ this!!

Try it yourself if you have time to; let me know what you think.
Just take a block of text from here, there, or anywhere (altho lifted right here from PN might be the most hilarious of all, for example an old PacDude or Ike rant), then choose the music genre, and see what you get...

Sounds professional!

Not my preference in genre or style. The timing and structure seem solid, though to me it seems somewhat soulless.

So long to Saturday, but if you care to jump deeper, there's another show coming up at 10PM Eastern (-4:00 UTC) at

(use the black-box player to avoid TuneIn advertising!)

Not about Sunday, just plain old "sun" but all tunes from German bands. The word is "sonnen" over there, but surprisingly, most of lyrics in this show (where there are any) are in English. No 3-minute pop tunes this week haha! This is all prog-rock, or as affectionately known in a slightly offensive way, "krautrock".

Great shows @Free Bally!
Eagles was a great song to end first show!
Alot of these songs from second show I have never heard before!

Congrats on 3rd Anniversary!

Hope your brother is healing well.
We are all still very worried about him!

Ok back to last part of show.

Glad you're grooving, back in the day the "Avocado Mafia" was an influence on me: Eagles, Ronstadt, Stills, Jackson Browne. Bro is making a great step forward this month, getting to a milieu much more amenable!

Gold star for you if you're gettin' in on the krautprog show, like i tell folks about it when i play a show like this: two choices. One, you can put the show on while doing something else and look at your player device now and then and say "whoah, what's that?", or two, you can grab a fav intoxicant and spend some time leaving all the "something elses" for a while.

Looking for tunes to slot into next week's show, it's about "ugly" but already listened-to and discarded "Fat Bottom Girls" by Queen and "Short Mort" by Carole King. Let's not allow social predjudice overshadow what is truly ugly!
