What should I do next?

Seeing as the thread at VPF is hopelessly out of date and I'd like to see more discussion here at Pinball Nirvana, I'm posting a new poll to see what people would like to see next. I'll include the tables I currently have material for. I'm not sure when I'll be able to start on one, though. There's a chance I might get a job that has more time off soon, though.

I'm not saying I'm going to make the most popular table from the list (based on the last poll, it's not hard to guess which would rate first), but I might use some of the data in the equation towards choosing one.

Well, I voted for Medieval Madness, because I'd like to see what you could do with it, and because I don't DL mods, which is a quirk of mine I guess. Second would be Pinbot, since that's the pin my buddy has, and I figure playing a Dude Pinbot might help me improve my game enough so I can win more often. Good luck with the new job, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I voted for White Water, as the version that exists is pretty out of date. I'd like to seea PD MM just like everyone else, but since there is apparently another updated version coming out soon, I'd vote for you to focus on other tables if I had a say in it. I'd also like to see a newer version of Space Station, which is one that I'd bet you could whip out in no time flat.

Of course, like I mentioned in the other thread, it's your hobby and your passion, do whatever makes you happiest. If we happen to like it, so be it. If you do a table based on public opinion rather than a desire to do so, I think that would show in the end product.

I'd like to see Whitewater due to the current version being a half built mess. I've never actually played nor seen the table in an arcade, so a PD version would be the next best thing! Jurassic would be my second pick as I know Pac actually has a passion for that table. My 'not on the list' fantasy pick would be No Good Gofers, with a PD_CPU mode whereby all the audio is replaced with 'Caddyshack' music and quotes! C'mon, how friggin' awesome would that be?!

Not that you would do that Pac, but satisfying my own curiousity, is something like that even possible? I mean changing out audio and such completely. That's more like an actual ROM change, right? Please just crush my fantasy now before I think about it too much and salivate at the possibilities!

I would prefer Bram Stoker's Dracula and Monster Bash, but as far as I know you don't like them much.

From the poll I would say PinBot. But I don't care much about what's the next as long as you don't stop.

I voted White Water, but I was EXTREMELY torn between that and Jurassic Park. I originally would have voted Medieval Madness, but PK's new "enhanced mod" or whatever you want to call it should bring that table to acceptability, whereas White Water is in dire need of a new version, even more so than JP, which I also enjoy immensely.

White Water is, IMO, one of the most underappreciated pins of the 1990's era, with JP not far behind because it's a Data East game. I've always wondered how fabulous a PD version of this would look, and based on the playfield shots earlier, it appears that its playfield is more crisp than JP's.

I voted for White Water too. I played it a couple of times but the table had issues so I didn't think it was fair to judge. It seemed pretty cool though. I actually enjoy the PD version of Monopoly more than the actual machine. I found the one at the 2004 CAX show to be very difficult to make shots. Maybe it was the flippers, I dunno. The PD Monopoly has now taken over the top spot in my VPLauncher from Big Bang Bar.
From the tables in the poll, I think Space Station would probably take the least amount of time to do although I remember Pinball Magic was started a loooooong time ago and I'm not sure what state that one is in. Whatever the choice will suit me fine. :D

Came by to see what's happening on this forum for a change. I vote Whitewater as well. I had I oportunity to play this table at a pinball show in Arlington, TX a few years ago, but the La Quinta that it was held in was having issues with power. Not enough to run all the machines presnet so they kept tripping circuit breakers and having brownouts at caused the machine to restart, lockup and otherwise act crazy. Looked interesting.

I voted for MM, although also the actual version of WW is pretty out of date.
The actual STTNG is IMO an excellent version, and I don't feel a restyling necessary at the moment.
Transporter: the Rescue is also a really lovable table, It's a shame that no one voted for it (neither me )

Pac, did you ever get the video you needed of the T-Rex from Jurassic? Also check out the thread on the Pinball Hall of Fame in Veges, as I'm going this weekend with another VP'er and might be able to assist you in some respect, only I'm not sure exactly how to come back with useful goodness.

Ok, I've decided to go with an original table instead. It's called Big Beefy and it's to give Bob's porno pinball some competition.
