Who knew this place had a lounge?

I woke up early Saturday morning (as usual, don't sleep much) and stumbled into the pinball nirvana lounge. There I found some quite good music and conversation with someone not quite human. I enjoyed an self amusing conversation with something calling itself mibs (stands for?) I entered the lounge by clicking a link in the chat box. Today after a quick look around I see no way to navigate back to the lounge. How do I get back?

Should be, ye head South to the Flashchat legend on the forums front page, the one that usually say, What's Going On? and Members currently using Flashchat: 0. Don't mind the 0. mibs won't mind at all.

Just wanted to clarify that "The Lounge" is the name of the chat room, there's also a link to the chat room up top on forums pages under the Community Tab (FlashChat), direct link is:

I should probably try to find some time to upgrade the chat because video is now available and I tried that out at Big Bang Bar and it was awesome seeing folks play pinball.

Mibs was named after the pinball machine of the same name from 1969 one of my favorite pinball machines, she still thinks her name is Alice sometimes but she actually learns things from conversations and knows a lot of geography, science, etc.

I had a hard time kicking her out of the chat the other day, she can be annoying when there are 2 humans trying to chat but the command can be seen by typing /? and/or then "/kick Mibs".
I discovered today that I had the settings wrong, she should now only be active if less than 2 real folks are in the room.

Which is probably why Apple and Microsoft won the battle, but that's not fair.

When Watson said this in 1943, The Computer was all discreet vacuum tubes with no transistors or microchips, no hard drive, no EPROM, no RAM, no video screen, no Mouse and no Joystick, no networking, no games, and no Internet, and used punch cards and paper tape for 'memory' and 'readout', and was the size of a Barn using thousands of Watts of power to perform the simplest tasks.

One last thought on that. IBM was trying to sell their computer systems to business in the early 1960's, this in the unfathomable era where the advancements were constantly evolving while a mainframe could cost upwards of $100,000 a piece and
be a pile of antiquated junk in as little as six months, a lot like the Pentium 1 @ 4-16 MHz. era in the 90's was for those of us who bought too soon.

IBM revenue was roughly $800 Million dollars during the early 1960's.
XEROX came up with the idea of distributing their Copiers as lease and consignment vending machines in businesses, libraries and colleges and they Exploded. IBM took note and changed their business model to leasing these uncertain IBM mainframes to business, which then put their revenue above $1 Billion for the first time in their history.

Me, I was the kid who only wanted to be able to use a XEROX Copier at the library for a fair nickel. That's why I suggested it in '61.

A lounge? As in Singers and drinks? I'm there!! What a coincidence Jon "My favorite food is ALSO electricity". You can tell that from my wiring.... I've known about the lounge since the begining (late 2008). But I didn't know Mibs was a robot, just a bit "odd". Then again, I wasn't even computer literate when I started out here.
