Just read that Giffords is awake after surgery and was able to recognize her husband, it will be a while before they know how much brain damage there is.

Also read that the 9 year old girl that was killed was born on 9/11.

Even if this nutcase wasn't influenced by Palin's hit list or other insane rhetoric thrown around by political opponents I hope they start to tone that shit down now. People with millions of followers need to show some restraint in their political mud slinging, keep yelling fire in a crowded theater and eventually people are going to get hurt. But I'm sure the next elections both sides will be right back to putting targets on people and calling them the enemy.
