No, sorry, just quite busy.

Thanks for trying, it was a good idea for a program. Pity it doesn't save any of the settings. I'll have to think of a different way to do it by somehow attaching screenshots to the vpx files. There must be a simpler way.

c:\pinball, d:\pinball, c:\users\ed\desktop, even a t:\ mapped to a linux cifs share to take windows permissions out of the equation entirely lol

uac disabled, as user, as admin, while actually logged in as local administrator account, windows 10 and 11 both tested, all the same results: the config file is written correctly, but on next launch the app loads a blank new one

even tried setting the immutable flag on the config file and it retains its config, but the app still starts with a blank default setup

im very thorough lol

If you delete file "TableFont.ttf" in programs directory it will be recreated after launching fprocket?

I moved ini file to c:\users\user_name\local\fprocket
Try this: v 2.0.5.6

still not saving. tabletop.ttf extracts to the current folder like usual, no ini so it definitely moved somewhere, but i dont see a folder created in my user folder. search finds nothing in there, no folder called fprocket

the ini file is now being created in the new place, but when you close the app and relaunch it it still loads a blank set of settings (even though the ini shows the correct settings still)

yep but i just realized its not EVERY setting. my font/color changes and my window size/location persist across launches (and the new no-startup-sound option, thanks for that!), just not my exe/folder options for vpx. so we've got progress! haha

I contacted you by e-mail about a problem and I've just discovered this message on pinballnirvana.
I have downloaded version 2.0.5.7 where as on your site there is only 2.0.5.4.
But still 2 problems
Photos always go to C:\MTCPincab\FuturePinball\BAM even though I've tried several paths and created a screens folder.
Visual pinball disappears from fprocket.ini when reopening FProcket :
FP Rocket ini 1.jpg image capture after saving setup
Closing FProcket
FP Rocket ini 2.jpg after opening FProcket
I don't understand what to do, which seems to have worked for Eduardolicious

With fprocket v 2.1.0.0 I have the FP and VP tables even after stopping and reopening fprocket v 2.1.0.0. But impossible to open a table on FP or VP I get the message 53 - File not found. I've changed the table path but it's the same.
