I got the same "no-can-do" message from the TVMC installer that I got when I tried to install Future Pinball on Windows 98SE.

Hey everybody. Can you watch Shout Factory TV? Every video that I click on comes back with a "This video is not available in your country" error. Only the ads play without a glitch. The Shout site is based in Los Angeles (like me!) and is hosted by Hulu which works fine here.

So, if you happen to be in the U.S. of A., click on any of the videos and tell me if you are able to receive the video or, if not, then what error messages you are getting.
And if you aren't in the U.S. of A., then try it anyhow. I'm here and the site software still won't believe me. Could be the site script wasn't set right and the videos are freely available for viewing in Abu Dhabi...

The Home page was very slow loading. A Dick Cavet video played just fine after a Nissan commercial. This Old Computer still running XP and I guess you need Flash Player up to date. Hey Sleepy thanks for the link to>>>

In spite of commercials (These Are Free Videos), they offer MST3000 and several of the Elvira DVD releases as online streams, and are threatening to become a site for cult and revival films. I am interested in this.

A few of the films such as Day of the Dead are offered in both the release version and the Commentary version.

But all I get is like the attachment picture says...

Have you tried various browsers? My truck driving buddy had some plugin, add on or installed program. It made his computer appear to be in United Arab Emerits. He could not get to yahoo Etc. in english. I fiddled about and uninstalled everything that we did not recognise. Finally no UAE any ' ware '

Nope. I put Firefox in Safe Mode (this disables all add-ons). No dice.
I disabled geo location services. No dice.
I re-enabled FF geo location browsing and took an online location test.

It says that I am 5 miles West of here, so that should still work as far as validating my status as a human not from Abu Dhabi.

I think it's a bug with my Time Warner ISP. The location test listed a "Server#3" as "Virginia". Now, I like Virginia myself, however, neither here nor there??? In my first message to Shout CS, I asked them what country was theirs.

They didn't answer. But they have contacted me about the issue.

UPDATE: I tried a Time Warner Cable Chat. The agent checked the Shout site and reported getting the same "wrong country" message. She dissed it as "not available" and ended the chat.
Before she disconnected the chat, I asked her, "Is TWC blocking this site?"

She said, "No. TWC Does Not Block Content".

If you want to watch games online (MLB.tv, etc.) and you live in their market then chances are you may be blacked out. If that's the case then I can help. Just use the steps below; it worked for me last night while watching MLB.tv:
1. While viewing the webpage of the game that says it's blacked out press F12.
2. Click the settings icon in the bottom right corner of the screen (sprocket looking gear thingy)
3. Click "Overrides" on the left side.
4. Find "Override Geolocation" and check the box.
5. Enter a location's coordinates in which the game is not blacked out. I did Helena, Montana (not sure why). Coordinates are Lat = 46.5, Lon = 112.03 (you can find other locations' coordinates by a simple google search).
6. Again, make sure the box beside "Override Geolocation" is checked.
7. Refresh page (F5)
8. Boom. You're not blacked out anymore.
9. You're welcome.
10. Bye.

I just gave it a shot. I live near Atlanta and am using Comcast and it works great. Then as a 2nd test I fired up my VPN and connected via a server that said my location was Los Angeles, CA and it still connected fine.

Yes Comcast here too. When I got my buddy's browser going to english sites I believe it was something we uninstalled in control panel. He said he never installed anything . Some how some thing nefarious did get installed. Here is a link @ shout factory playing on another tab...>

OK, I gisabled(spell check thinks this a word) two Java 'Helper' something or other add ons in Chrome AND uninstalled Java 7 in control panel. ShoutFactory videos load and play just fine. Similar results from IE. *Searching the .net got you nowhere. If you are not being re-directed and I don't think you are...

Well, that does narrow the problem a bit.
You know, Java 8 is Not Recommended by Oracle for XP. And I have the latest Firefox and Chrome and they won't allow me to enable Java 7. Which is why I asked you to try that, in case the missing Java was the cause for error.

So it's a server issue. The error I get from the "Web Developer Toolbar" is:

Error: fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555".

Searching the Net, some sites report that error as caused by a missing Java installation because they are using an applet. Other sites such as Novell report the need to update their SSL scripts as the cause for the error.

Who knows??
