Hello everyone
I recently got my hands on an old touch computer from a bank. It's running xp x86 with 2gb ram now and a light Future Pinball Table (SciFi-Classic), as it was the only table I found that works smooth on "acceptable" resolution. I built a virtual flipper from cherry wood with real buttons and a plunger. works like a charm. Only thing that's bothering me is the highscore. I installed a button that emulates the PAUSE key to show the highscore, because I only have a single monitor (dual monitor setup is too much for this machine). When I show the highscore there's some pre-written placeholders by default in there with funky names. I want to remove these and after searching the www I found this tool in here (fpram editor) to edit the fpram file, where the highscore is stored. Unfortunately I can not get this tool to work because it needs .net framework 3.5 which I can't get running on this pc. I know this is more of a windows question maybe, but I thought maybe some of you have faced the same issues before. The problem is, that even with the offline installers of net framework it wants to connect to a microsoft server and download stuff. I could of course run the editor on another computer, but my only laptop with Linux is broken.
